2000-Present Field Technician, Hanson Environmental, Inc.

Participated in intensive sampling of tagged juvenile salmon for the San Joaquin River Vernalis Adaptive Management Plan (VAMP) using Kodiak trawls. Conducted water quality surveys in the Delta, measuring EC and collecting water samples. Completed data input associated with water quality surveys.

1999-2000 Human Resources Administrator, Kirkwood Mountain Resort

Responsible for screening resumes/applications, facilitating interviews, and coordinating orientation/training sessions for fifteen to thirty new hires a week. Covered the duties of the Risk Administrator on her days off (eg. drug testing, post accident reports, taking customers to the Intensive Care Unit in Reno , etc.). Developed and implemented Voucher distribution tracking system, which involved creating a database and physically distributing $28,000 in vouchers every two weeks, for 700+ staff. Worked closely with Accounting Department confirming payroll hours, changing rates of pay, entering housing/uniform deductions, changing employee status information. Helped with the coordination, implementation, and logistics of several pre-season job fairs. Scheduled with department managers new employee orientations.

1994-1995 Report Coordinator/Print Department Manager, Comparative Prices Int'l Corporation

C onducted in-depth research and wrote a comprehensive employee manual outlining worker benefits, disciplinary/probationary procedures, and corporate philosophy. Streamlined report assembly procedure in a manner that allowed for delivery of reports to clients before critical deadline. Responsible for close contact with over 100 Independent Contractors in the US and Canada .

1989-1993 Thesis Editing Assistant, CSU, Chico ; Graduate School

Guided and counseled Master's candidates in relation to University policies, Human Subjects in Research laws, Animals in Research Laws, and copyright restrictions. Helped the Sponsored Projects staff develop partnerships with government labs.  Submitted over 300 proposals with 200+ getting funded during 1991- 1992 school year.
