Responsibilities include scientific and technical project work, team leadership, and writing reports submitted to regulatory agencies and private industry. Current projects include assessment and evaluation of the effects of sand mining on aquatic habitat and fishery populations of San Francisco Bay, characterizing biological and hydrological effects of well pumping on flow and water quality of Big Sur River for water rights permit process, developing a study program to investigate fish salvage issues at the State and federal water export facilities, leadership of a fishery sampling program for the Marin Municipal Water District desalination project, and crew leader for the Vernalis Adaptive Management Plan fishery sampling program.
